U.S. Army Europe Band Drums Up Concert Dates in Poland
Programs Will be Music to the Ears of Military Band Fans

The U.S. Army Band is on the march, and a number of concerts put Poland on the front lines of the band’s schedule. The group will perform in five cities throughout the country April 8 -12.

The United States Army Europe Band under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas H. Palmatier, is stationed at Tompkins Barracks in Schwetzingen, Germany. The Band was originally activated in 1940. With its partner group, the U.S. Army Europe Soldiers’ Chorus, it is the Army’s third largest musical organization, the biggest outside of the U.S., and the Army’s premier musical ambassador in Europe.

The U.S. Army Europe Band and Chorus performs more than 200 times each year, and has appeared in over 20 European and Middle Eastern countries from Russia to Lebanon.
