Professor Stan Breckenridge

Counselor for Press and Cultural Affairs Ed Kulakowski invites you to a concert and a presentation by Professor Stan Breckenridge as part of the Embassy’s America Presents program. In honor of Black History Month, Breckenridge will discuss aspects of determining, defining, and mapping American identity via African-American music. He has an extensive experience as an academic and professional musician. Performing professionally as a singer and pianist abroad and domestically for many years, Stan Breckenridge has delighted audiences in Western and Eastern Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and many cities throughout the U.S. This event will be held on Friday, January 13, starting at 3:30 p.m. in Karol Szymanowski’s Concert Hall of Warsaw’s Music Academy located at Okolnik 2.
