Ambassador Hosts First-Term Sejm Deputies

On March 1, Ambassador Ashe hosted a lunch at his residence for first-term Sejm deputies from various political parties. During the lunch, Ambassador Ashe and the young parliamentarians discussed a wide range of issues, including upcoming Polish local elections, US Foreign Policy, Polish-US relations, and the importance of supporting democracy in Poland’s neighboring countries. Ambassador Ashe also shared some of his experiences as a State Representative in Tennessee, a position to which he was elected at the age of 23.
