Ms. Ermler Presents To Polish Information Professionals

On March 28, the Embassy’s Information Resource Center hosted guest speaker Marzena Ermler from the New York Public Library. Ms. Ermler gave a presentation to an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 40 Polish information professionals from Warsaw libraries including the National Library, the Central Public Library, the Central Military Library, Warsaw University, the American Studies Center, and the National Defense Academy. Ms. Ermler’s presentation centered on “Practical Advice in Teaching Web Search Skills” and a discussion with her Polish counterparts on how to best train users to keep up with the constantly changing world of web search.
