U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel Media Availability

Capping a three-day visit to Poland, U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel will hold a news conference at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on Friday, October 10, 2003. Hagel will discuss his meetings with Polish leaders as well as U.S. policy on Iraq, U.S.-Polish relations and the future of NATO.

Senator Hagel is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee and the Select Committee on Intelligence. He is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations International Economic Policy, Export and Trade Promotion Subcommittee and the Senate Banking International Trade and Finance Subcommittee. Hagel, Nebraska's senior U.S. Senator, was re-elected to his second term in the United States Senate on November 5, 2002.
