Peter Brookes

Peter Brookes, a Senior Fellow at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC, visited Poland on a lecture tour sponsored by the U.S. Embassy November 4-12. While in Poland, Brookes spoke at venues in Warsaw and Krakow about U.S. national security issues. In Warsaw, on November 6, he participated in a panel discussion organized by the Center for International Relations titled “U.S. Responses to Global Security Challenges: Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Rogue States.” On November 7, in Krakow, he addressed participants of the conference “Immigrants – Us and Them?” at the Institute of European Studies of the Jagiellonian University. And on November 10, in Warsaw, he was the keynote speaker at a conference organized by Collegium Civitas titled “Contemporary Policies in Fighting Terrorism – Military Forces, Diplomacy and Special Services,” which took place at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.
