Applications for Children

Children need appointments just like everyone else. Children under the age of 14 do not have to appear in person for a visa interview.

A parent will have to apply in person on behalf of the child. He/she can make the appointment by following the procedures outlined in the How to Apply section of this site.

Minors over the age of 14 are required to apply for visas in person. We suggest that one parent accompany minor applicants to the interview, although the precence of a parent is not strictly required.
