Fulbright alumnus Dariusz Jemielniak
|
Polish Fulbright alumnus Dariusz Jemielniak volunteers for the Nida Foundation, working toward developing programs for English teachers in small towns and villages across Poland. Nida has trained over 1,000 teachers over the past several years, and now hosts a series of national annual meetings for English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers. Since 2002, Jemielniak has also been a member of the advisory board for the Polish Children and Youth Foundation and at the Nida Foundation. Dariusz Jemielniak went to the United States in 2004 as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Cornell University in New York, after completing his Ph.D on the workplace culture of software engineers at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw, Poland. Through his Fulbright Fellowship, Jemielniak went on to extend his study to the American IT workplace. Currently Jemielniak is an Assistant Professor of Management at Kozminski Business School in Warsaw, Poland. He regularly teaches courses on Introduction to Management & Business, Principles of Management, Contemporary Management Theory, Organizational Behaviour, International Business Environment, and Knowledge Management.
